  1. I took so many new valuable information from this week’s lecture. For starters, I learned about the different jewelry that the tuaregs wear. Some of them believe that the necklaces that they wear makes them blessed with babies and wealth as well as keeping the bad spirit away. They also move from one place to another in that way they are able to trade. One of the most interesting facts that stood up to me is that the tuarges shed a light on both the african and the arab culture. They travel within Africa and especially north Africa so they were able to pick up on the Arabic language. They care so much for their barbarian ways. They mostly travel with camel so
